Land Development Guidelines for the Protection of Aquatic Habitat (1993)
This document's primary goal is ensuring preservation of quantity and quality of fish habitat, as well as maintainance of the productive level that existed prior to land development activities. It follows the principle of no net loss of the productive capacity (i.e. the maximum natural capacity) of fish habitat as established by the DFO's Policy for the Management of Fish Habitat (DFO 1986).

Wetland Ways is written primarily for people planning some form of activity, or development near wetlands or those looking for guidance on ways to best maintain the high ecological values of such areas. The benefits of wetlands are often unrecognized and undervalued and their loss or impairment is often costly or impossible to replace.

Report on Columbia - Kootenay Watershed 1961-1962 (1963-1964)
Report on Columbia - Kootenay Watershed provides a general picture of conditions in the Kooteney Basin and the Columbia River proper with emphasis on the lower reaches of the Arrow Lakes to the international boundary. It is the result of a limited sampling program introduced on the principal Kooteney-Columbia chain. The report provides the results of the survey together with other relevant information.
